Carnival Longest Kick Winners
At each AFL Masters National Carnival, there is a longest kick competition for each age group. Here are the winners from over the years. The record longest kick is 67.2m which was booted in the inaugural drop kick competition in 1984 by Ray Buckley from the NT (subsequently more famous for being the father of former Collingwood legend Nathan Buckley). Don Dykes from Tasmania has won the longest kick title a record 9 times, stretching back from 2003 to his most recent win in 2021.
