Organisers must ensure these events are organised as per the AFL Risk Management Program. Especially for Pre-Season matches, Due Care needs to be taken for fitness, surface and weather conditions. |

2 day carnival (Sat-Sun) is a round-robin format between 6 or 7 teams. Each team plays twice each day, 2 x 15 minute halves. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

While teams are resting, watching the next game, it's no rarity to see 5 or 6 blokes sneak onto the ground in a different jumper to even up the matches. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| One year, one team forgot to turn up, but rather than rejig the draw, everybody chipped in with 5 players, turned their jumpers inside-out and a memorable victory made this the best game many players have ever enjoyed, forging great friendships outside the normal state loyalties. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
